As temperatures crept into the mid-'90s during the final twenty-four hours of the Coachella Valley Music & Fine art Festival in Indio'due south Weekend 1, some music fans hit the local hotel pools.

While the festival is held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, there are numerous Coachella pre-parties at hotel pools happening throughout the area. 2 of the largest are Coachella promoter Goldenvoice's almanac Day Club Palm Springs at the Hilton Palm Springs and Desert Gold, which takes over the Ace Hotel & Swim Gild in Palm Springs. These events offer festival ticketholders a chance to cool off before the large event and give those that didn't score tickets to the big show the risk to experience just a little of the action.

On Easter Sun, music fans congregated around the pool during Desert Gilded at the Ace Hotel, enjoying small-scale bites and mezcal cocktails while Pangea Sound provided the soundtrack to a hot, notwithstanding relaxing, belatedly brunch crowd. Patrons floated on avocado and sloth-shaped puddle floats and hung out inside the HBO Max-branded activation themed after its serial "The Flight Bellboy" that included an air-conditioned lounge with snacks, fresh-pressed juice and massages.

Over in The District pool surface area of the hotel, The Do-Over had a diverseness of DJs performing and guests danced inside the covered open-air edifice, relaxed in the smaller pool surface area and sipped on cocktails to beat the oestrus.

Desert Gilded continues during the second weekend of Coachella with events happening from apex-6 p.m. daily Apr 21-24. The lineup includes the record characterization Hereafter Classic with a slew of artists inside the Amigo Room; the all-women, vinyl and genre collective Chulita Vinyl Club will present diverse artists poolside all weekend; L.A.-based DJ Esty on Saturday; and The Do-Over takes over The Commune with mystery DJ sets on Sunday. In Sheep's Habiliment will be inside the Amigo Room for the tardily-night crowd from 8 p.m.-one a.m. These events are free and open up to the full general public with advance RSVP at acehotel.com.

Day Club Palm Springs was much more than packed on Sunday as the oversupply, virtually of which were sporting their Coachella festival wrist bands, were getting an early jump on the day with sets by Dom Dolla, John Top and DJ Miane. It was a lively scene with guests wading into the water with cocktails, dancing and playing with beach assurance.

Those that weren't interested in taking a dip, hung out in the several on-site branded activations. In that location, they could pose for photos with oversized props, guild Instagram-worthy drinks and fill their swag numberless with festival essentials like sunglasses, lip lotion, sunscreen.

The second weekend line-upwardly includes performances by Duck Sauce, Hayden James, KiddKitt, Beat out Guild and Layla Benitez on April 22; Louis the Child, Kasbro, Elohim, A-Bo and Austin Millz Apr 23; Tchami, Vnssa + Friends, Lacati, Damaged Appurtenances and DLMT Apr 24.

Twenty-four hour period Club Palm Springs is a ticketed event and tickets much exist purchased in advance. General admission tickets are $25-$45 and weekend passes are $70-$95 at dayclub.ps.
